The Pretty Feminist Comedy Show: a place for pretty feminist comedy; a place for pretty feminists – now with 18% more feminism!
Host: Tranna Wintour
Tranna Wintour is an optimistic, spiritual, happy, raunchy, pop-culture-obsessed, fashion-hungry comedienne. She made her comedy debut at an open mic at the Montreal ComedyWorks, and since that fateful moment the lady has been unstoppable. With her unique brand of humour (and glamour!) Tranna has taken the comedy scene by storm. She most recently performed her one-woman show at New York City’s legendary Duplex to a packed and adoring house. She has performed in many festivals including Just For Laughs, SheDot, Zoofest, LadyFest, Pride Toronto, Montreal Sketch Fest, Divers/Cité, and performed her one-woman show, TRANTASY, to rave reviews in the Montreal Fringe Festival (2015). She was selected as a competitor in Sirius XM’s Top Comic contest for two years running. Tranna has also made a name for herself on the burlesque scene, acting as MC for many of Montreal’s most fabulous burlesque troops. This summer Tranna, alongside co-producer and co-host, Thomas Leblanc, performed three sold-out nights of “Sainte Celine: A Dion Cabaret” at OFF Just For Laughs.

Kirsten Finch is the creator of The Pretty Feminist Comedy Show and has appeared in international events including Toronto’s SheDot Festival and Ottawa’s Cracking Up the Capital Comedy Festival. Kirsten’s unbridled passion for feminism, nerdiness and all things silly shines through in her act. As a skilled emcee she facilitates interactions between fans and guests at Montreal and Ottawa Comiccon. Kirsten is also a prolific background performer, lauded for her ability to pretend to work and mime conversations, skills she was previously maligned for by ex-employers and friends alike.
Bianca first wet her proverbial funny feet when she took to the stage in 2007 with Montreal improv troupe Improv Fight Club. Shortly thereafter, she performed her first stand-up set and has been vying for the approval of strangers ever since. She has performed stand up throughout Canada as well as in NYC and LA. She also studied with the world famous Groundlings when she lived in Los Angeles for over a year. This past year, she performed in the Montreal Show at Off-JFL.
Shawn Stenhouse was born on the not-so-mean-streets of Montreal’s suburbs. He did some stuff, then he did some other stuff, then he started doing stand-up comedy. With a style that falls somewhere between blithely dry and mildly enthused, Shawn has performed all over Eastern Canada and become a fixture on the Montreal scene. Recently, someone thought it would be a good idea to have him perform at the Montreal Fringe Festival and Zoofest. When he’s not performing stand-up he’s either sitting around feeling sorry for himself or working on his webcomic series, ‘Shawn’s Bad Comics’.
